Skip to Navigation and Ancient Faith Collaborate on New Podcast Section

A new offering on features a selection of Ancient Faith Radio's podcasts, providing edification and ease-of-listening access for our visitors. You can find the latest releases on our homepage sidebar, and in our master collection. The section will be continually updated with episodes of popular programs by men and women from across the Antiochian Archdiocese and beyond, like "Roads From Emmaus" and "Frederica Here And Now".

Technical work was completed by developers from both Ancient Faith Ministries and the Department of Internet Ministry. "While these two departments of the Archdiocese have collaborated closely for years," noted Douglas Cramer, Archdiocese Director of Internet Ministry, "with this project the Archdiocese deepens her ability to share the rich teachings continually offered on Ancient Faith Radio's podcasts." The integration project relied in particular on the strengths of Dept. of Internet Ministry technical consultant Michael Brooks of SNP Technologies in Connecticut, and Ancient Faith Ministries technical consultant Fr. John Schroedel, an OCA priest in Hawaii.

With the launching of this project, an extensive library with thousands of new pages of content now resides on the Archdiocese website. Entire podcast collections have been imported. Archpriest Patrick Reardon's reflections, for example, go all the way back to 2005. Other notable Antiochian podcasters like Fr. Andrew Stephen Damick, Archpriest Josiah Trenham, and Frederica Mathewes-Green, will now have a home on

"We look forward to further fleshing out this first presentation of podcasts with more offerings in the future," Mr. Cramer concluded. John Maddex, Ancient Faith Ministries Department Chair and CEO, agreed. "Our goal is that the successful ongoing partnership between these two Archdiocese media departments—Ancient Faith Ministries, and the Dept. of Internet Ministry—will result in increasingly effective, fruitful resources for those we are called to serve."
