Apostles' Fast Begins

From the second Monday after Pentecost until the feast of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul on June 29, Orthodox Christians celebrate the Apostles' Fast. This year, the fast commences on Monday, June 4, 2018.

First-enthroned of the apostles, teachers of the universe: Entreat the Master of all to grant peace to the world, and to our souls great mercy!
