Bilingual Great Compline

Corrections, Additions and Notices

**The Diocese of Los Angeles and the West is transferring its exhaustive Liturgical Texts sections to the Online Liturgical Guide. Word-for-word texts of the Divine Services (Vespers, Orthros, Divine Liturgy Variables, etc.) for Great Feasts, Diocesan Patronal Feasts, Great Lent and more will appear here on a monthly basis. The Diocese of Wichita and Mid-America has also published extensive liturgical resources for clergy and chanters.

**The printed Liturgical Guide has been discontinued. The Online Liturgical Guide is now the one-stop source for all weekend Liturgical Texts which are now posted more than one month in advance. However, if you need these earlier, or if you need specialized Liturgical Texts for a great saint, a church consecration, and more, write to Subdeacon Peter Samore at Requests for specialized Texts should be made three weeks in advance.

**The Liturgical Texts of the Online Liturgical Guide now utilize prosomoia ("model hymns") as set by Holy Transfiguration Monastery of Brookline, Mass. Chanters can take the verses marked with asterisks and set them to the music syllable by syllable. Click the links either for books either with lyrics or without lyrics.

**A practice for Orthros: our Typikon prescribes that, when the theotokion for the tone of the week is not used at the Apolytikia, it replaces the theotokion in the first Kathisma in Orthros. Since July 2014, the Antiochian Archdiocese has followed this practice.
