St. Felicula, Martyr, at Rome

Commemorated on June 13

St. Felicula lived in Rome in the late first century. She was the foster sister of St. Petronilla; both were secretly raised as Christians by their parents.

After Petronilla refused to marry a powerful Roman official, both sisters were arrested. After Petronilla received the crown of martyrdom, Felicula was left with no food or water in her prison cell.

She was ultimately thrown into a sewer, where she entered into the Heavenly Kingdom in the year 90 A.D. St. Nicomedes recovered her body.
