St. Osanna of Jouarre
St. Osanna was a maiden of Jouarre (in the diocese of Meaux, France).
Born in the sixth century, she was the sister of King Osreds of Northumbrien, fled to Brittany and became a nun at a Benedictine monastery in Saint-Brieuc. She entered into the Heavenly Kingdom in 700.
Today, this monastery is considered the most important in France.
