Interpretations of the 2017 Theme

"My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations." (Mark 11:17)

Possible interpretations of the theme may include but are not limited to some of the following ideas:

• The Church is God's house
• Depictions of the Church as a holy place
• Ways that we show proper respect and reverence in church
• What constitutes proper church behavior
• Depictions of people from different races, ethnicities, etc. worshipping in church
• Ways that we can welcome others into our church
• The icon of the Cleansing of the Temple
• The various parts of the church and the activities that take place in each section
• Making disciples of all nations
