Find Our Coordinators At Your PLC!!

The Department of Christian Education will have a representative at each PLC this summer. If you are interested in speaking with one of our Coordinators or Associates, please let us know. Do you need training for your teachers? Have questions about curriculum or current issues? Our staff is available for trainings and workshops at your Parish. Speak to our staff at a PLC or look for their contact information under Staff and Volunteers on our website.

Here's where you'll find us:

DOWAMA – Dn. Elisha Long will hold a workshop entitled "Lessons From the Front Lines – exploring the dynamics of the current generation of youth" – on Friday, June 21 from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. Don't miss this discussion! Also, Vasiliki Oldziey will be staffing our information table at various times and speaking to different groups throughout the conference. Stop by to discuss your needs, ask questions or just find out what the AODCE is up to!

MIAMI – Our new Coordinator Anna-Sarah Farha will host a workshop featuring our new Department Church School program "The Great Feast Icons – The Life of Our Lord." Her workshop will take place on Friday, June 14 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Please join her!

TOLEDO – Robert Snyder will lead three workshops this year. On Thursday, June 20, from 10:30 – 11:45 a.m., he will explore "Christian Education – Have We Got it All Wrong?" Then on Thursday, June 20 from 3:45 – 4:40 and Friday, June 21 from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m., Bob will discuss "Parenting as Primary Educator." Please take this opportunity to talk to Bob about the needs of your Church School.

CHARLESTON/NY – Director Carole Buleza will explain and detail our new Department Church School program "The Great Feast Icons – The Life of Our Lord" during her workshop on Friday, June 28, from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Library tables. Please check in with Carole to discover what's new with the department or to discuss your training needs.

OTTAWA – Fr. Christopher Rigden-Briscall will be available throughout the conference to assist with any Christian Education questions or concerns. Look for his display table with handouts and resources. He will be discussing "The Great Feast Icons."

LA/EAGLE RIVER – Look for Coordinator Anne Beach at her display table in the vendor area. She will have handouts and resources for teachers and directors and would love to discuss workshops and trainings in your parish. Visit her at the PLC for your church school needs.
