At 11:30 a.m., following the 9 a.m. Divine Liturgy, the two held a special session for clergy. Patriarch John spoke of the meaning of the priesthood, and also stressed that the Antiochian Church is working hard within extremely difficult circumstances, to bring peaceful solutions and dialogue to the troubled Middle East.

In the afternoon, at a dynamic meeting with the Society of Orthodox Youth Organizations (SOYO), His Beatitude addressed the teens, stressing the significant role of youth in the Church, and noting the importance of their commitment to Christ. After Vespers at 5 p.m., the busy schedule continued with The Order of St. Ignatius Dinner.
