October is Youth Month

Youth Month

"Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth." (Ecclesiastes 12:1)

This month, in parishes spanning the continent, the Self-Ruled Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America is celebrating the contributions and needs of our Orthodox youth. Laypeople and clergy, young and old-thousands of individuals are involved in youth-related work through the departments, organizations and parishes of the Archdiocese. From the departments of Youth Ministries, Christian Education, Camping and College Ministry; to our Teen SOYO programs and the publications and audio materials for and about youth from The Word, Conciliar Press and Ancient Faith Radio; the place of our young people in our Archdiocese is never far from our hearts and minds.

Over the coming months, the Department of Communications will be unveiling a wide range of online resources for youth and youth workers. This month, we are happy to highlight for you just a small sample of youth-related material. Enjoy, and pray to our Lord for the health and well-being of our children, teens and young adults.
