St. Erfyl of Wales

St. Erfyl (also known as Eurfyl) was a Welsh virgin who founded a church at Llanerfyl in Powys in the third century.

She is buried beneath an inscribed stone in the churchyard at Llanerfyl. Her holy well formerly stood nearby
