St. Wastrada of Susteren

St. Wastrada was born in the eighth century and was of noble Frankish origin. She was a widow and mother of St. Gregory, abbot and rector at the church in Utrecht, Holland.
Later in life, she became a nun at the monastery in Susteren, near the Maas River, in the Netherlands.
She peacefully entered into the heavenly kingdom in 760. She is buried at Susteren, along with her son, Gregory and his nephew, Alberich.
