This is the Magnification & Katavasia of the 9th Ode of the 2nd Canon that is sung for the Nativity of Christ from December 27th to the 30th. "Magnify, O my soul . . . Past understanding are the wonders of thy childbirth. . . ." The music is in Western & Byzantine notation; magnification sung in Tone 2 (hard chromatic) and troparion sung in Tone 6 (soft chromatic).
