Women's Month Message from NAB President Dianne O'Regan

Greetings from the Antiochian Women, and Welcome to Antiochian Women Month!

The North American Board (“NAB”) of the Antiochian Women has an exciting array of information to share with you, both on the newly rolled-out Archdiocesan website and in your individual churches. 

Check out our webpage with just a few of our activities:

• •Materials for our 2018 NAB Project, “Strengthening the Ministries of our Church – Vocations,” including a letter from His Eminence Metropolitan JOSEPH, our Project poster (in various sizes/formats), and a message to be read by a woman to your congregation.
• •The NAB Scholarship Coordinator’s Cover Letter and Grant Application.
• •Two articles in the March edition of The Word:  NAB Vice President/Project Coordinator Kh. Suzanne Murphy writes on our 2018 Project, while NAB Membership Coordinator Mary Lou Catelli asks, “Read Any Good Orthodox Children’s Books Lately?”
•  •“FOCUS On Love,” an ongoing “Act of Mercy” between the Antiochian Women and FOCUS  North America.  This annual “Act of Mercy” assists the FOCUS Feeding Programs throughout the United States.  Feeding the hungry, especially children, is central to the FOCUS – and Antiochian Women’s –missions. 
• •And, most importantly, the roll out of our on-line contribution portal.  By clicking on the blue button – “Donate Now to Support Our Ministry” – you can easily make a contribution to one of our many programs:

            -           Antiochian Women 2018 Project

            -           Widowed Clergy Wives Program

Of course, look for the women in each parish doing even MORE than usual this month … taking the collections, reading the Epistle and ministering to all.  Remember that EVERY women – from 19 to 99 years of age – who is a member of our Archdiocese is an ANTIOCHIAN Woman!  We continue to be a “Sisterhood Serving Christ Through Serving Others.”
